A Lifelong Dream

When I was a little, I dreamed of turning my parents garage into a stall and their cul-de-sac backyard into a paddock. I sketched plans and dreamed of having a horse just outside my door. Years passed and throughout my adult life, I never thought we could have a property big enough for a barn and an arena. Over the years we found, bought and fixed up six dilapidated houses, I never ventured to look at houses in the acreage section. God knew my heart, even when I didn't dare to dream such a very big dream. He was always making things fall into place and along came a foreclosure of the upper property that would make my dreams come true.

Special Thanks

A never ending thank you to my husband Scott and son Evan for their tireless work in the downpours of rain (and the mud that followed), the freezing cold, and the burning sun almost every single weekend and countless weeknights to complete this big endeavor. 90% of this project was done by our family including Elsie's husband, Lucas.
